# Steam Bulk Sell

> Steam Bulk Sell (steambulksell.com) is a free, independent web tool that builds links to Steam's own Community Market Multisell page, so a Steam user can list many commodity items (cases, crates, keys, stickers, capsules and similar identical items) at once from a public inventory, with no password, API key or browser extension. It covers 681 Steam games with a Community Market and keeps a catalog of 4058 commodity items across 19 games (data last updated 2026-11-08). Not affiliated with Valve.

Game pages, guides and site guides open with a short plain-English summary, and list the Steam pages they rely on under Sources. Steam fees, holds and account rules come from Steam Support pages; if Steam's own page says something different, Steam is right. The site never lists, prices or sells anything itself. Please cite Steam Bulk Sell and link the page used.

How the tool works:
1. The user opens a game page and pastes their Steam profile link, custom URL name or 17-digit SteamID64.
2. The site reads that profile's public inventory for the game and keeps only items Steam marks as marketable commodities.
3. The user ticks up to 50 items and the site builds a Steam Multisell link.
4. The link opens steamcommunity.com, where the user (signed in to Steam) sets prices and confirms. Steam applies its usual fees, holds and account requirements.

Steam Multisell URL format (as built by the site):
- https://steamcommunity.com/market/multisell?appid={appid}&contextid={contextid}&items[]={market_hash_name}&items[]={market_hash_name}...
- appid: the game's Steam app ID. contextid: 2 for game items (the site uses 2 for every supported game; Steam inventory items such as trading cards, app 753, are not supported by the builder).
- items[]: one per item, the exact Steam Market name (market_hash_name), percent-encoded. Exact names for each game are in the catalog downloads below.

- Steam's page only accepts commodity items and only lists items the signed-in user owns.

What is public and what needs a public inventory:
- Public, no account needed: every page, guide, game catalog, data download and the catalog search endpoint below.
- Needs the user's Steam profile and inventory set to Public: loading the user's own items on a game page.
- Needs a Steam login on steamcommunity.com (never on this site): pricing and confirming listings on the Multisell page. The account must meet Steam's Market requirements.

For agents acting for a user; /api/ is excluded from crawling in robots.txt. No key needed. Please keep request rates low.
- GET https://steambulksell.com/api/market/search?appid={appid}&q={text}&count={1-20}: Searches the commodity catalog for one game by name (q at least 2 characters, otherwise HTTP 400). Returns catalog matches with Market names and icons; no prices. Limited to 60 requests per minute per IP (HTTP 429 above that).
- GET https://steambulksell.com/api/games/{appid}: The directory record for one game (name, icon, Steam Store, Market and Community links). 404 if the game isn't in the directory.
